OUR CLINICAL TEAM
Jacqueline Robertson, LMFT is the founder of California Psychology and a Psychedelic Somatic Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, dual-licensed in California and Canada. With over two decades of experience in the healing arts, she offers an integrative, relationship-centered approach that prioritizes the development of secure attachment, relational attunement, and emotional resilience.
Her work is deeply informed by Attachment Theory, along with Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi Mindfulness, Attachment-Focused EMDR, Jungian psychology, and psychedelic somatic therapy. Jacqueline frames psychotherapy as a relational process, where the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a corrective and reparative experience, fostering trust, self-regulation, and connection.
She specializes in helping clients understand and heal early attachment wounds, navigate fear of abandonment, and develop healthy self-worth and secure relational patterns. Her approach integrates nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and relational attunement, supporting clients to process trauma, address anxiety, and cultivate lasting relational and emotional growth.
Jacqueline is especially devoted to supporting those experiencing mid-life transitions, grief and loss, women’s issues, existential inquiry, and psychedelic preparation and integration, providing thoughtful guidance through personal growth and meaningful life passages.
She holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara, certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Colorado, and certification in holistic nutrition from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition.
Through her own practice of writing, dance, and music, Jacqueline models embodied presence, emotional attunement, and creative expression, bringing both depth and relational intelligence to her psychotherapy sessions. Her fee is $275.
Ariana Howell, AMFT is a warm, heart-centered therapist who guides individuals and couples in cultivating self-awareness, emotional clarity, and empowered living. She brings a grounded, compassionate presence to her work, creating a space where clients feel seen, held, and deeply supported as they explore their inner world. Ariana holds a Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy from California State University and practices from a holistic, trauma-informed, integrative framework that honors the mind, body, and nervous system.
Ariana believes healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about returning to the innate wholeness that has always lived within. Her approach is both evidence-based and relational, drawing from EMDR, polyvagal theory, mindfulness, somatic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based therapy. She is attuned to the nervous system’s role in healing, integrating breathwork and somatic awareness to support emotional regulation, trauma processing, and deeper connection to self and others.
Ariana works with adults and couples navigating anxiety and panic, emotional dysregulation, attachment wounds, relationship challenges—including attachment-based couples therapy—life transitions, self-esteem and self-worth concerns, and complex or developmental trauma. Her collaborative, attuned approach helps clients cultivate resilience, self-trust, and inner steadiness, guiding them toward more authentic, fulfilling, and deeply connected lives. Her fee is $150. A select few sliding scale spots are available for those in financial hardship.
Gabriela Manriquez, AMFT is an empathetic, culturally attuned therapist who guides clients in reconnecting with themselves, transforming habitual patterns, and cultivating self-compassion to live with greater peace, clarity, and intention. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and practices an integrative, evidence-based approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.
As the eldest daughter of immigrants, Gabriela brings a nuanced understanding of family dynamics, responsibility, and internalized pressures. She views therapy and inner work as radical acts of love: by turning inward with curiosity, clients learn to care for themselves with the same compassion they extend to others—transforming their relationships and the world around them.
Her approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and integrative. Gabriela draws from psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, CBT, IFS-informed parts work, mindfulness, somatic practices, and sound-based meditations to support holistic healing. She works with clients navigating anxiety, attachment wounds, fertility and assisted reproductive journeys, pregnancy and postpartum transitions, life changes, relationship challenges, self-esteem and self-worth, complex or developmental trauma, and women’s issues.
Gabriela offers therapy in both English and Spanish, creating a space where clients can breathe, explore new possibilities, and live more fully aligned with their values. Her fee is $150. A select few spots for sliding scale available for those in financial hardship.
Psychotherapy grounded in presence, attunement, and profound respect for the whole human experience.
